Kaijū Sekai Seifuku Anime Confirms More Cast, Theme Song, and April 5 Premiere in Update

You’ll want to mark your calendar for April 5, 2025, when Kaijū Sekai Seifuku hits TV Tokyo’s morning lineup at 7:00 a.m. This quirky slice-of-life anime follows four kaijū monsters, all voiced by the talented Aoi Yūki, as they study humanity while living with their patient human landlord. Under director Kinuta Ōshiro’s guidance, the series promises monster-filled mayhem backed by Rosy Chronicle’s theme song “Gaogaogao” – and that’s just the tip of the kaijū-sized iceberg.

Four kaijū monsters with grand plans of world domination are about to get a reality check in “Kaijū Sekai Seifuku,” a charming slice-of-life anime headed to TV Tokyo in April 2025.

World domination takes an adorable turn when four kaijū monsters attempt to conquer Earth through slice-of-life shenanigans.

You’ll get to watch these adorably misguided creatures attempt to study humanity by moving in with a young office worker, transforming her apartment into their not-so-secret base of operations.

The stellar cast lineup features the incredibly versatile Aoi Yūki, who’s pulling quadruple duty by voicing Mera, Gusuka, Aniki, and Sugar. She’s joined by Rina Kawaei as the monsters’ patient human landlord and Sōta Nakajima as the presumably bewildered neighbor.

The news of this exciting project first broke on November 15, 2024, generating immediate buzz among anime enthusiasts.

Misato Fukuen and Megumi Satō round out the ensemble as Gaogao and Garugaru, respectively, promising plenty of monster-filled mayhem.

DLE, Inc. is bringing this quirky tale to life under director Kinuta Ōshiro‘s guidance, with Hiroko Naka crafting the scripts. If you’re wondering about the source material, you’ll be interested to know it’s adapted from a yonkoma manga that ran on Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype website from January 2020 to April 2021.

The project’s actually got some history, with a short anime version having already tested the waters back in April 2020.

You’re in for a treat with the theme song “Gaogaogao” by Hello Project’s fresh-faced group Rosy Chronicle, which perfectly captures the show’s blend of chaos and heart.

The anime’s set to premiere bright and early at 7:00 a.m. on April 5, 2025, on TV Tokyo, with other stations following suit.

While international streaming details are still under wraps, you can bet this unique take on monster-human relations will generate quite a buzz.

After all, who wouldn’t want to watch a bunch of world-conquering kaijū getting schooled in the ways of everyday human life?
